So as we were taking a quick break from working very hard this weekend, we noticed a handful of little journals hiding in the depths of our sacs, lying above our night-stands, peeking out of our desks, and decided... you could never have enough mini-journals; be it moleskin, used leather strap up, or a cute gold embossed - magnetic flap style.
What we love:
Why:mini-journals.
1.) They're miniature. hello?! *sold*2.) They're portable-- so easy to carry 5!3.) Easily accessible.4.) The possible cover designs are endless.
5.) The paper inside is soft (& smells good).
6.) comes in graph, plain, or lined.
7.) *You can use a diff. one for diff. things.
*For No. 7: we'll use ourselves as your example.
We have:
1.) for original songs written for guitar.
2.) for "deep" thoughts, personal feelings, self-made poems/life quotes.
3.) for sketches, art
4.) for stories, quotes, inspirational words.
5.) for personal goals (1 year, 5 year, 10 year and daily)
6.) class schedule along with research topics/ quick notes, teacher's recommendations.
7.) for languages. *French, Japanese, Polish, Swedish-- we got 'em all.
Frankly, we love them all-- buying them at first glance is a weakness we have. Oh, don't get us started... an innocent trip to Borders will leave us at the journal section for 2 hours trying to decide which notebook we love more.
In our frenzy of stocking up, we've also noticed that some of them sit there without being touched or written in. That makes our hearts ache.
:// Use it, don't abuse it.
